Pretty cool. All of this took place over about an hour. It was pretty cool to come back and check on the little dude’s progress. A great science lesson indeed. It did not, to their chagrin count as all the science we needed to get take care of today :)

Ha! You may be a homeschooler if, during a run, you spot a big, fat caterpillar, and even though you despise touching anything that in any way resembles a snake, you gingerly pick up the nasty thing and carry it on your cell phone all the way home to show your kids. And then you put it into your butterfly house and all fuss over it and give it plenty of water and branches with leaves on them, only to have it die two days later:). Ah, the homeschooling life...
