So, okay, he really is the cutest 3 year old going on 30 ever!
He constantly amazes us with his wit, both original and used material. He has impecable timing, which adds to his comedic genius. The kid is gonna make us money someday, I would put my future retirement fund on it!
If not using his comedy, then his incredible arm and hand/eye coordination. This, he demonstrates already when he can both throw and hit baseballs better than I can (I know, that isnt saying too much, but trust me).
My favorite Tyism of current:
*His facination and continuous reenactment of his favorite show, "Ninja Warrior" (a Japanese show on the gaming channel where they do impossible obstacle courses - the whole thing is in Japanese with english subtitles). He is constantly jumping off, between, over objects in the house while saying, "NAGASAKI!" (we can thank his daddy for that one)
*His love of music of any kind. Doesnt matter the genre, the kid will sing along, store it for later, and belt it out as soon as he gets home to find something that can be used as a microphone. Who needs an MP3 player? We got one who can sing in Japanese if need be.
*He LOVES to play or watch people play the guitar. He makes everything into a guitar, and "plays" complete with facial expressions that would crack up one of those British guards who cant smile or breathe or anything.
*He talks like he is 45. He has an amazing ability to remember phrases and put them in when we least expect it. Adrian told him to eat his chicken the other day, to which he replied, "Good point, daddy!"
*Oh, and back to the music thing, he loves to sing along with our Acapella CD's in the car. One of his favorites is the "HallaNUah" song.
*He does the robot. Yah, its good.
*He loves trucks and trains. Specifically, he loves TRASH trucks. I think Ty must bring a degree of happiness to the garbage man on Thursday mornings. I am sure he doesnt get alot of adoring fans as commited to sitting on the front porch in wide eyed wonder as Ty. He gets a honk every trash day from the trash truck driver, so that Ty thinks that that is simply part of the job (he honks his toy trash truck at the imaginary children around the room when he plays the trash man). With my luck, THAT will be the childhood dream he pursues ...goodbye retirement fund.
*He has an incredible imagination. Not to stray too far from the trash truck thing, we were in Sams this morning when he asked if he could ride "like the trash truck man" on the back of cart. Then, he would make Adrian stop every couple of isles, then go through all the motions of getting a trash can off the curb, hooking it up to the truck, pulling the lever, sitting back with a bored look on his face while the trash dumps, undoing the trash can, and returning it to the curb. Oh, and there were sound effects. You really should be sad you missed it.
ANYWAYS..I could go on and on (as I have amply demonstrated).
Basically, my kids are a hoot and they make me smile every day when I am not wanting to smother them :)

I cracked up reading your blog. Luke shares Ty's adoration for garbage trucks. Maybe they can work together some day!:)
"Bucket" trucks, as David called them when he was three, must be the fascination of all little boys!! He would watch for them, too, and he LOOOOVED Oscar the Grouch! Anytime we saw a metal trash can, he'd go lifting the lid and calling for Oscar! Back then we couldn't find toy garbage trucks ANYwhere, and my grandmother found the only Oscar stuffed animal in the whole city of Charleston in a downtown floral shop. Your post brought back great memories...
