Quote of the Week

Okay, so we went yesterday with the boys and flew kites (this is long time daddy fantasy of Adrian's).

It only took about 10 minutes for the kite to get away from us and get stuck in a tree. It was sad for a three year old to leave his Buzz Lightyear kit up there, and he immediately went to solving the problem.

We were in the car on the way home, and after being quiet for a few minutes (this is something, let me tell ya) he said..."if we had a jaguar we could get that kite down, cause jaguars climb."

Well, that is true Ty, but I dont know where we could get a jaguar on a weekend.

Few more minutes of quiet contemplation ...

"Diego has one."

Yes, but he is hard to get ahold of.

Another minute or two passes...

Sigh. "I wish we could bump bump bump the tv, break the glass and go in and GET Baby Jaguar OUT of the TV."

That also reminds me, that a couple of weeks ago he was watching Backyardigans (they are awesome little cartoon creatures who use their imagination to go on adventures in their backyard and they dance better than anyone I have ever seen in real life) ..and he told me then too, that he wished he could "BREAK the TV and go play with them."

Hmm..note to self. Suddenly the problem we have with him throwing stuff at the TV suddenly is more alarming than first thought.
