While we have made wonderful friends along the way, and have loved much through our travels, home has never really meant a physical location for me.
It was not until Adrian brought me to this place, Summerville, South Carolina that I started making a piece of earth mean "home" to me. We have been here for 6 years this past July, and it has grown up around our little family to create a place of home physical and every other way possible.
When we came here, we came only on the promise of a part-time job and the love of a church who had raised Adrian. It was enough for us to build a home, grow into this church family at Summerville Church of Christ, and birth two sweet babies. We have found a place amongst these people, both of the community and congregation here.
The beaches, hot weather, humidity, beautiful sunsets, wonderful people, and loving friends have found a home in our hearts.
We dont really know what God has planned for this Steedly family, where home will be 10 years from now or even 5 (or tomorrow for that matter). But, we know that we are home now, and that God has blessed this place for us :)

First of all, what an adorable picture of the boys! Secondly, I am so glad that this is where you have made your home, selfishly b/c that is how God brought you into my life. I am so thankful for your friendship and encouragement.
Oh, and maybe we've talked about this, but I did not realize that you were here only a month before we were. Wow!
What a beautiful place you call home AND what a sweet photo of the boys! You and Adrian are both very blessed :)
I'm glad your "home" for now is also our home for now. It's one of those kinds of things that you store away in your thankfulness spot and recall when you need reminders of how great God works when we're not even aware of it.
He is good....we are blessed.
