We took the boys to Fort Dorchester State Park this week for our "treasure hunt". I love history so there was a little in it for all of us. It is the site of ruins from the 1700's when Dorchester was its own settlement with need to defend it with a fort and ammunition cache. It also has remnants of a 1700's Anglican church, with only its bell tower and some of the gravesites surrounding the church still standing.
The hills made for great rolling, and the creeks made for some interesting sights ..including the copperhead daddy found curled up on a fallen tree. :) Thankfully, he was the one climbing it, and he was watching where he was putting his foot next.

"
our dad is the awesomest!"
Adrian got some great shots of these beautiful Steedly boys as well ...
