So, the boys and I took a spin through the "Mommy Closet" ( a great idea of my friend Kim). Its a congregational sharing system for children's stuff in general. You bring, you share, you take, you bring back when you are done.
We have gotten at least two pairs of near new shoes, this years heavy jacket for Ty, and a weird looking dragon toy Ty picked up one day :)
We also got this great block table that my kids LOVE. Both Ty and Canon play and play with them.
Yesterday, Ty got them and created a whole fleet of airplanes, complete with remote controls, wheels, names and so on. Some were very creative (the one he made for Canon was just two pieces smashed together, but he was proud of it).
He made one for daddy, then told me that "maybe he will share with you when he gets home." Then, he called daddy to tell him that he made it and that he could share if he wanted.
Last week, when he was doing the same thing he added another level of entertainment when he set them all on the bar, left the room and walked in with his hands in pockets, walking like he was browsing the hobby store (which he got to do a couple of weeks ago when Grandpa Steed was in town). He walked over to the "shelf" with the air planes, inspected them, and interestingly picked the one he had just been bragging about moments earlier :)
Here is my little man hard at work:
My little areo-genius :)

I saw that table in there the other day and almost grabbed it, but I'm glad i didn't. Your boys will have so much more fun with it than Gabe would and Hope would just slobber all over them...ewwww.
Yay! I'm so glad you got stuff out of the mom store! I've gotten some awesome flash cards for Luke that we use to pass the time in restaurants. They are a lifesaver.
