So Ty amazed us today with his all day effort to build a super train track. He had the Geotrax out for a morning play date with some friends, then kept working on an idea for the rest of the afternoon after they left.
He kept trying to make the track go up and over large items in the room, and eventually succeeded. By the time he went to bed, he had created this massive network of roller coaster type track routes.
It was so impressive, it will surely continue to take up half my living room and most of my dining room for a few days. How could a mom be so heartless and destroy her little man's all day creation? Far be it from me. Yes, we will be climbing over it every time we have to use the kitchen, leave through the back door, enter the living room, sit at the table, move about in the living space in general ...but far be it.
Thus, we are looking for a house with a playroom :)
.......
As a side note, Ty and I were looking through a magazine looking for an "n" picture (I feel that these assignments from his "school" are mine as well). We were flipping through pages when he stopped at a page, pointed and casually said,
"Oh, there is the money you could be saving with Geiko."
Uh, okay. So is their target audience SUPPOSED to be 4-year olds or is my kid just really prepared and already shopping for auto insurance? :)

Ha! I love it...they are so observant :) I've been meaning to ask, are you homeschooling or is this assignment from pre-school? Just curious.
We plan on homeschooling starting in the fall. We have a church school here, where lots of our friends go. So, this year we sent him for some "sit still and listen" training. Its been good for him, and we are thinking will be a good pre-training exercise for when mommy takes over this fall :)
That is so funny!
