Merry Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas morning at home, in our perfect-for-Christmas house! I was so excited to get to have a fireplace AND stairs ..all my Christmas fantasies of a mantel and kids coming down the stairs Christmas morning got to come true :)

With our tree covered with the faces and remembrances of special friends and family ...

And little ones creeping down the stairs (after an ample dose of Advil for all..since everyone woke up with fevers :( ....

Ty took pictures of all this gifts with his new "real!" camera from Santa ...

Canon broke into his "treasure box!" from Grammy, full of yummy treats!

The boys crammed into their new little tent where they immediately started working on the games they would play there ...

Canon got into his art smock to try out the art table Santa brought him ...what was he thinking?


And, last but certainly not least ...we got only video of the boys reaction when the boys got to find a new backyard playset waiting for them in the pouring Christmas rain! :) It was not quite finished, as the weather kept Grandpa and Daddy for finishing it up.

It was from Mommy and Daddy ..not Santa...we wanted full credit for that one ;)

Unfortunately, it rained for the day or two following Christmas, and as every time it happens, the boys had to practically swim out to the swings and monkey bars. So, we will work on getting pics for that later! :) They had a great day though, despite fevers, a call to poison control (when Canon tried to self-medicate himself with the Advil mommy left on the counter in the rush to let the boys see what Santa gave them :(, developing coughs and yucky weather.

And, while we missed being with the Kendall's this year :(, we did get to spend our day with our visiting Grandma and Grandpa Steed!
