Five Months Precious

I cant believe this little man is five months old! ..really, he is almost six but we wont talk about that yet :)

Joshua is staying true his personality of being laid back, sweet as kisses and already ready to move just like brothers were at his age.


His brothers LOVE him, and he thinks they are hilarious! The best giggles we have gotten have been when Ty is playing "peek-a-boo". They have regular dates when they all pile Josh's bed and talk to him and teach him goodness knows what :)

He is learning to sit up..this was was taken a couple of weeks ago ..he was still pretty lazy :) ..and starting to teeth.

 As per usual, the Steed tradition of starting real food a bit earlier than 6 months is continued. Joshua loves squash, pears, applesauce and rice cereal. Green beans, not so much.

 While Josh is learning to sit up, he is not independent enough to walk away yet. He is pretty steady for a few seconds at a time, but not enough to be helpful during dinner time :)

So, we are borrowing a Bumbo (how did our parents survive without this stuff?) from a friend, and we are loving it :)

Joshua is also learning to use his little hands to collect stuff, like the jar of spoons on the kitchen counter. He pulled this around from behind him to suck on the whisk..nice.

This has always been one of my favorite ages, and I am loving it! :) He still just loves me for my body though ... :)
