So...

So Tyler loves to surprise and amuse us with his little thoughts.

He offers these little gems at the most unusual times, when there doesnt seem to be anything that would make him think of it. Which makes his little questions even more impressive and funny. Its like his brain is constantly moving and pondering.

He starts with saying..."so..."

* "cowboys dont use swords, they use ropes, right?"
* "we dont say that we KILL anybody, right?"
* "you dont want me to get in the road, right?"
* "you dont want me to be mean to Canon, right?"
* "pirates dont use guns, they use swords, right?"
* "daddy is at school, right?"
* "you want me to go to bible class, right?"

He is so witty.

Oh, and here is a situation that left me stumped today. He was looking at Uncle Dustin's picture, and noted that he was holding a gun (that went something like, "Uncle Dustin is holding a GUN?!). Uh oh.

So, that leads us to a discussion about how soldiers and police officers (we have one of those in the family too) can carry guns and they dont want to ever shoot people, but sometimes they have to if there is someone who is hurting someone else. But, unless you are a soldier or policeman you dont ever point a gun at people.

Sheesh. I may not be cut out for this.

Oh, that's so funny!! Jacob was JUST LIKE this! He LOOOOOVED police and firefighters and military when he was little (STILL loves the military, says he's going to West Point) and we'd say the SAME things about guns- and then I'd add that they'd only "shoot them in the leg" to get them to stop! HA!
