Sweet Christmas Memories

Mommy had to work on Christmas Day, but that didnt stop us from celebrating it all the same...just on Christmas Eve instead. We had Christmas morning, Christmas lunch and all of it..just a day early.

It was a great day.

Adrian's parents were here to celebrate the day with us, and we had a wonderful time watching our little men experience Christmas to its fullest :)

Ty knew what was coming this year, so he was definitely the most fun of the two. Canon took Ty's lead and was excited when he was, and make sure to watch him closely for the appropriate cues :)

We used lots of our own favorite childhood traditions ..including waiting in the hallway in crazy amount of time increasing the anticipation and hiding behind a sheet and our eyes until mom FINALLY let us in the living room!

Everyone also got TicTacs and oranges in their stockings ...that Santa must have a pretty good memory ;)

Santa brought the boys both airports..Ty got a GeoTrax (third year to get GeoTrax stuff and I see nothing but GT coming from the Ol North Pole for awhile..best money ever spent for the Steed boys!) and Canon got a Little People Airport.

Canon was actually more excited about Ty's gift than his own, but that is understandable. Ty's had moving parts and a remote control.

They both racked up  in the gift department, but we took things slow so that they could enjoy everything before we moved on. It was a great day!

   

 

We also started some Steed Christmas traditions of our own when we built a fire and roasted marshmallows.

We had a great sticky mess, but it was worth every sticky finger, nose and face.
