Sunny Inspirations

Today was a beautiful 85 degrees ..a nice taste without having to be in full blown summer quite yet.

We took the opportunity to do some painting on the deck ..the kids loved the novelty of doing it outside, and I loved having the mess stay there :) It was Canon's first time with the paint brush and watercolors and he did great.

Ty informed me that he had already done this at "school." Oh, well. Okay.

Ty drew some trees and birds. Canon experimented with all the colors and would paint a blob and proclaim it something usually color appropriate. He would say, "its a bird!" or "its a tree!"

Fun times...

We will definitely pull those paints out again! It bought me like a hour of non destructive play time! wahoo! :)
